25 Things that I No Longer Buy since I Became a Minimalist

Minimalism has given me the opportunity to live with more intention and think more deeply about how my choices affect the world around me.

I realized that I can actually live without a lot of the things that I used to bring into the house.

So here are 25 things I no longer buy since I became a minimalist:

  1. Disposable cotton

  2. Makeup wipes

  3. Makeup Remover

  4. Shaving cream

  5. Hair spray

  6. Home Decor

  7. Pet toys

  8. Jewelry

  9. Accessories

  10. Manicures

  11. Pedicures

  12. Perfume

  13. Excess dishes and utensils

  14. Phone Accessories

  15. Water bottles

  16. Sheet masks

  17. Disposable menstrual pads

  18. Disposable face towels

  19. Single function appliances

  20. Excess cleaning products

  21. Souvenirs

  22. Toys

  23. Things that are just on sale

  24. Dollar store stuff

  25. Name brand products

In some cases, I have replaced these items with more sustainable alternatives. For example, I use reusable cotton pads and menstrual cups instead of disposable cotton pads. I also avoid buying items that I don't need and instead invest in quality items that will last.

Living a minimalist lifestyle has allowed me to make more conscious decisions about what I buy and to avoid products that are wasteful or unnecessary. By eliminating these items from my life, I have been able to focus on what really matters and live a more meaningful life.
